Founder's Statement.

By Mark Santangelo

I am one human being. Flawed. Imperfect. Mortal. But in the brief time I have on this Earth, I choose to believe in something bigger than myself: that we can build a better world—if we find the courage to try.

We are living through an age of reckoning. The system we were told would protect us has failed far too many. Our democracy has been hijacked by special interests. Our planet is burning. Our rights are eroding. And too often, our voices go unheard—lost beneath the noise of corporate media and political theater.

I will not pretend the path forward is easy. But I refuse to accept that this is the best we can do.

The People’s United Party was born from this refusal. It is not just a platform. It is a call—to conscience, to action, and to each other. It is a movement powered not by wealth, but by will. Not by political insiders, but by ordinary people who have decided that enough is enough.

We are not here to patch the cracks in a broken system—we are here to reimagine it from the ground up. To create a government that serves the people, not the powerful. A country that leads with justice, not with fear. An economy that uplifts all, not just the privileged few.

This is not a protest against the past—it is a proposition for the future. One rooted in truth, fueled by compassion, and driven by the unshakable belief that real change begins with us.

I am not asking you to follow me. I am asking you to walk with me. To stand for something bigger than politics. To reclaim your voice, your power, and your future.

Because the future is ours to write—and together, we will write it with courage, with love, and with unwavering determination.

In Solidarity,

Mark Santangelo

Founder, People’s United Party
